Find-A-Tox Practice Description : The Division of Clinical Toxicology provides emergent, inpatient, and outpatient consultation for children and adults with acute and chronic poisonings, occupational and environmental exposures, venomous bites and stings, adverse drug events and reactions, or interpretation of toxicologic testing results. The Division was established in 2009 to coordinate patient care activities, enhance graduate and undergraduate medical education in medical toxicology, support research efforts, and facilitate collaboration with other VCU faculty and staff. Referrals for both inpatient and outpatient clinical consultation with our medical toxicologists are coordinated through the Virginia Poison Center (http://www.poison.vcu.edu).
