Find-A-Tox Practice Description : UPMC Medical Toxicology Service, a division of the UPMC Department of Emergency Medicine and the University of Pittsburgh, is the only program in the region, treating adults and children with poisoning concerns. The Medical Toxicology Outpatient Clinic at UPMC Presbyterian evaluates and treats people with effects from animal envenomations, drug and chemical exposures, and environmental hazards at work or home.

Our comprehensive program is a Center for Poisoning Treatment meeting guidelines established by the American College of Medical Toxicology. Few centers nationally meet these exceedingly high standards. UPMC Medical Toxicology is dedicated to the treatment of the poisoned patient with state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services. A board-certified medical toxicologist is waiting for you to call 24 hours a day.
