Fellowship Program Description : The Medical Toxicology Fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center offers ACGME-accredited training built on exceptional clinical breadth. Fellows gain robust exposure to a wide variety of poisonings and envenomations, drawing on the diverse case mix of a state that spans rural and urban populations. A key strength is our close integration with the Mississippi Poison Center and an on-site analytical toxicology laboratory, giving fellows hands-on experience correlating clinical presentations with confirmatory testing. Our collaboration with the Mississippi State Department of Health further distinguishes the program, connecting fellows to public health surveillance, outbreak response, and population-level toxicology
