Fellowship Program Description : The IUSM Medical Toxicology Program offers a busy bedside clinical consult service at three tertiary care hospitals and sees over 700 patients per year, of which about half are pediatric cases and about 10% are chemical dependency cases. We provide medical backup for the state's only poison control center and run a highly rated teaching rotation for students, residents, and fellows from other specialties. Fellows also enjoy a dedicated junior faculty curriculum in a supportive community within the Department of Emergency Medicine and along with other EM based fellows. Our six board certified Medical Toxicology faculty include a pediatrician and a neurologist and provide dedicated fellowship teaching both didactic and at bedside as well as mentorship for career planning and scholarly works.
