Clerkship Program Description : Our ACGME-accredited Medical Toxicology Clerkship at Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Safety provides medical students with outstanding clinical, academic, and research exposure. Students participate in bedside toxicology consultations at Denver Health and Hospital Authority, University of Colorado Hospital, and Children’s Hospital Colorado while gaining experience at one of the nation’s busiest poison centers, which manages nearly 100,000 exposure calls annually. Learners work closely with expert toxicologists, participate in teaching activities, and explore research opportunities through national collaborations, presentations, and scholarly projects, gaining broad exposure to the practice of Medical Toxicology.
