Rotator Start Dates : August, September, October, November, January, February, May. Exceptions to the above.

Typical Rotation Lengths (# of Weeks) : 2-4

Hours Per Week : Varies depending on virtual versus in-person experience. Virtual Rotation: Generally 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. In-person: Day starts at 9:00 am with one hour of case review, two hours of lecture, and 1-3 hours of clinical rounding.

Special Features of the Rotation : Features active case review, didactics, patient interaction. We offer a robust inpatient service of toxicology consultations, addiction medicine consultations, as well as consultations for sedation/sedation weaning in critically ill patients. There is opportunity to listen to poison center calls, review poison center cases, partake in daytime poison center call. Each rotation block offers a field trip the the Detroit Zoo to visit the reptile house.
