Clerkship Program Description : The purpose of this rotation is to improve both your ability and your confidence in the recognition and management of toxicological disorders. Rotators will work in a multi-disciplinary team that can include EM residents, APP fellows, pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, and Pediatric EM fellows to evaluate patients presenting with toxicologic concerns such as acute drug overdose, adverse drug reactions, occupational exposures, drug withdrawal concerns and envenomations. Education will be through bedside teaching, case-based learning, didactic sessions, and weekly journal club review.
