SUMMARY:Deadline: Carol R. Angle Pediatric Toxicology Travel Award
DESCRIPTION:Dr. Carol R. Angle is an established legacy in the world of medical toxicology and a woman who has made a significant impact on many levels as a pediatrician\, nephrologist and noted expert on lead poisoning. She is renowned as a physician scientist whose pioneering work in these areas remains incredibly relevant today. Dr. Angle continues to be an inspiring figure and highly regarded leader. Unfortunately\, the number of pediatric-trained medical toxicologists is declining as the need for this unique combination of training grows. In establishing this travel award with the MTF\, Dr. Angle's goal is to encourage pediatric residents and medical students to pursue Medical Toxicology fellowship training. Up to two recipients will be selected and provided with registration and reimbursement of up to $1\,500 to support travel\, meals and lodging to attend the 2027 ACMT Annual Scientific Meeting.\nhttps://www.acmt.net/angle-travel-award/
