Full and Associate Application
Full Membership
Full membership in ACMT is designed for physicians who have achieved board certification or completed advanced fellowship training in medical toxicology. Eligible physicians include those who have:
- Been certified in the subspecialty of Medical Toxicology by ABEM, the American Board of Pediatrics, or the American Board of Preventive Medicine;
- Completed a two-year ACGME-accredited medical toxicology fellowship and received the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Medical Toxicology from AOBEM; or
- Been certified by the former American Board of Medical Toxicology.
Full Members enjoy all privileges of membership, including the right to vote and eligibility to serve as Directors or Officers, allowing you to play an active role in shaping the future of the field.
Associate Membership
Associate membership is designed for physicians who have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in medical toxicology but have not yet passed—or are not eligible for—the ABMS-approved certification exam. Associate membership is limited to a maximum of six years, unless extended by the Membership Committee and approved by the Board. Members enjoy reduced dues and full access to ACMT resources, networking, and professional development, while voting, holding office, and attaining Fellowship status are reserved for Full Members.
