Affiliate Member Application

Affiliate membership is designed for a broad range of professionals. Eligible applicants include licensed physicians and non-physicians with an advanced-level degree or ABAT certification who work in a field related to medical toxicology or who have demonstrated a strong interest in the specialty. This includes, but is not limited to, addiction medicine specialists, clinical laboratory scientists, environmental and occupational health specialists, epidemiologists, forensic toxicologists, industrial hygienists, advanced practice nurses and nurse practitioners, pharmacists, physician associates, physicians, poison center managers, toxicology research scientists, and veterinarians with toxicology specializations. Affiliate members enjoy nearly all the benefits of ACMT membership, including access to educational resources, networking opportunities, and engagement with the medical toxicology community. While affiliate members do not vote, hold office, or become Fellows of the College, they are valued members whose perspectives and expertise strengthen ACMT.

U.S. Affiliate Membership is available for an annual fee of $240. Applicants complete the affiliate membership application form and submit the required supplemental materials to ACMT. This includes two referrals, with at least one from a current ACMT member. Applicants who are ABAT members do not need to provide references. If securing an ACMT reference is challenging, please contact us and we will gladly assist.

International Affiliate Membership is also available for an annual fee of $240. This option is open to licensed physicians or non-physicians with an advanced-level degree who live and work outside the United States and are engaged in or interested in medical toxicology. International applicants complete the same application form and submit their supplemental materials, including three referrals, with at least one from a current ACMT member. International affiliate members enjoy all membership privileges except voting, holding office, and eligibility for Fellow designation.
