Join the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT) and the Emergency Medicine Resident Association (EMRA) for Part 1 of a two-part Poison Control Center 101 series on Monday, February 23 at 7 pm ET. This introductory session will feature experienced medical toxicologists who currently direct poison control centers and will explore the history, structure, and day-to-day operations of these essential public health resources. Speakers will also share insights into the role and responsibilities of a poison control center medical director and what it takes to step into that leadership position.
