Bylaws Vote Passed

The proposed updates to the ACMT bylaws have officially passed. These revisions were undertaken as part of a thoughtful effort to ensure the College’s governance documents accurately reflect how ACMT operates today, while also positioning the organization for continued growth and clarity in leadership.

Key updates include clarifying Board composition, outlining officer succession and the role of the Past President, updating the responsibilities of the Secretary/Treasurer to better reflect current practices, and modernizing language throughout, including the use of inclusive, gender-neutral terminology. The revisions also provide clearer guidance on quorum requirements for member voting.

Thank you to all members who took the time to review the materials and participate in this important vote. Your engagement helps ensure strong, transparent governance for the College.

If you have any questions or comments about the changes, please reach out to membership@acmt.net.

ANTIDOTE Institute Updates

The ANTIDOTE Institute continues to demonstrate strong early-career impact, with three members of Cohort 4 being awarded K-series career development grants in the past year! This milestone reflects the program’s success in fostering independent investigators and advancing the next generation of leaders in clinical toxicology research. We also recognized the completion of Cohort 4 at ASM with platform presentations by each cohort member on their research.

Additionally, the ANTIDOTE Institute welcomed four members to the first cohort of its FIT program, which allows trainees to network and explore toxicology research in a “micro-dosed” version of the full ANTIDOTE curriculum. We will be collaborating with the GRACT group from the University of Edinburgh at EAPCCT2026 to bring lessons learned in ANTIDOTE to a global audience of toxicologists.

ACMT at #NACCT2026: 27th Clinical Pathological Case (CPC) Presentation Competition

Submission Deadline: June 1, 2026

ACMT invites you to submit challenging poisoning cases for the 27th CPC competition. Submissions should be prepared as unknown cases for another CPC participant to solve. In return, you will receive a similarly complex case to present a differential diagnosis, educate the audience, and, ideally, solve. An ACMT educational sub-committee will select the top three submissions for the competition.
